PRAYER CHAIN This team ensures that the word gets out when prayers are needed for anyone in our church community.

AMERICAN BAPTIST WOMEN ABWM Mission Statement: "In commitment to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and to the mission of the church and through the enabling of the Holy Spirit, American Baptist Women's Ministries provides opportunities for each woman and girl to become and develop as God's person, build God's faith community and serve God's world."
The day group meets the second Thursday of each month at 10 a.m. for:
1) studying a book of the Bible each month
2) support of our church family through prayer and cards
3) learning about & supporting two International Missionaries, and one National Missionary through cards and remembrance's for their birthdays
4) support of Love Gift
5) support of an ABWM Project
6) support of a Scholarship student
7) support of local church projects both financially and spiritually
We share a meal together monthly, and go on two field trips a year.
The second group is called "Women on a Mission". These are mostly working women who do special projects as needed for the church and community. Together a Secret Pal Christmas Party is planned each year on the first Monday night of December.
All Women and Girls are automatically members of the American Baptist Women's Ministry.
