Hi - I'm Dave Richardson. The bare-boned details of my life are these. I married my college sweetheart, Pam. We've been married for almost forty years and have three grown sons, two daughters-in-law and one grandson. Ministry is my second career - the first having been in business and real estate development. I have been in pastoral ministry since 2002 but before that was heavily involved in churches as a volunteer, directing choirs, teaching bible classes and providing pulpit supply since 1976. I have an associate's degree in navigational studies, a bachelor's degree in music and two graduate degrees from Eastern Theological Seminary - one a Masters of Divinity degree received in 2006 and the other a Doctor of Divinity degree received in May of 2010.
But I know that you have not come to visit the web site just to read the dry boring details of my life. And I don't want to take up any more of your time with that nonsense.
My wife and I share a love for Christ, life, and relationships that are the driving forces behind everything we do. We love to be active. Whether it's riding our mountain bikes, playing a pick up game of basketball, or spending time with friends, we love to soak up every minute of life that God has given us. Christ is the reason we are here, and it is our prayer that our church and community will journey with us, as we learn together how to be followers of Jesus.
My primary pastoral responsibilities are: Youth Ministry, Life Groups Ministry, Missions, Young Adult Ministry, Vacation Bible School, Worship Service Leadership and Planning, and Pastoral Care.
